Welcome to Vroov. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Vroov is a mobile application that enables users to create and join groups for road trips and rallies. The app provides real-time location sharing, group chat, push-to-talk walkie-talkie voice communication, route planning, saved routes, memory sharing, event discovery, live spectator sharing, next stop coordination, and offline map caching features. The service is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use Vroov. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at info@vroov.app.
You agree to use Vroov in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not:
Vroov is not a navigation tool. The app is designed for group coordination during road trips and should never be used as a substitute for safe driving practices. Always obey traffic laws and speed limits. The driver should never interact with the app while driving — designate a passenger to manage the app.
Speed data, G-force readings, trail recordings, and other driving metrics are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. Vroov does not encourage or endorse speeding or dangerous driving. You are solely responsible for your driving behavior and compliance with local traffic laws.
Map alerts (e.g. hazard warnings) and next stop markers are user-generated and may not be accurate, current, or complete. Do not rely solely on these alerts for safety-critical decisions.
Offline map caching allows you to download map regions for use in areas with limited connectivity. Downloaded tiles are stored locally on your device. Vroov does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or availability of offline map data. Offline maps should not be relied upon as the sole means of navigation.
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, messages, voice notes, saved routes, event information). Walkie-talkie voice transmissions are streamed live to your group and are not recorded or stored. By uploading content to Vroov, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and your group members. Saved routes with visibility enabled may be viewed and copied by other users who visit your profile. Event content created by administrators is visible to all authenticated users of the app.
You are solely responsible for the content you share. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without notice.
Chat messages are subject to automated content moderation. Messages that are flagged for potential violations (e.g. illegal, violent, or harmful content) may be reviewed by an administrator. Repeated or severe violations may result in account suspension or termination.
Groups are created and managed by users. Group owners can manage members, deactivate groups, and moderate content within their group. Vroov is not responsible for the actions, content, or behavior of other group members. By joining a group, you consent to sharing your location, profile, and vehicle information with other members of that group. Group owners can enable a live spectator link that allows anyone with the link to view group members' real-time locations and trails on a web page without authentication. By participating in a group with an active spectator link, you consent to your location and trail data being visible to spectator viewers.
The Vroov app, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is the intellectual property of Vroov and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the app or its content without prior written permission.
Vroov relies on third-party services including Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, notifications), Mapbox (maps and offline tile downloads), Agora (real-time voice communication for walkie-talkie), and OpenAI (automated content moderation). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services. Offline map data downloaded via Mapbox is subject to Mapbox's terms of service.
Route links shared within groups may direct to Google Maps or other external services. Vroov is not responsible for the content or accuracy of external links.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users or the service. We may also terminate accounts that have been inactive for an extended period with prior notice.
Vroov is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee the accuracy of location data, speed readings, or any other information provided by the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vroov and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to:
You use Vroov entirely at your own risk.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vroov and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vroov operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
